GAOKE | Flange protection devices widely adopted in chemical plants
Non-metallic flange protection device

Ⅰ. Material
It is mainly made of high-strength and anti-aging non-metallic composite materials, such as fiberglass-reinforced polyester (FRP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), etc.
These materials feature excellent mechanical strength to withstand certain impact and pressure. They also possess superior chemical stability and can effectively resist erosion from various corrosive media including acids, alkalis and salts. This ensures long-term stable operation of the device under harsh working conditions and extends its service life.
II. Classification
· Transparent or semi-transparent structure: facilitates direct observation of the flange status;
·Non-transparent structure with leakage warning function: It is equipped with a replaceable pH test paper that turns red when exposed to acid and green when exposed to alkali. In case of leakage, it can quickly change color based on the acidity or alkalinity of the medium, thereby enabling rapid identification and early warning.
III. Functions
· Effectively prevent splashing of high-temperature liquid and corrosive chemicals from flange joints, so as to avoid burns and chemical injuries to human skin, eyes and other body parts.
· Equipped with real-time monitoring and early warning functions, it can send timely alerts before leakage occurs or at the initial stage of leakage, improving operational safety.
IV. Features
· It boasts excellent UV resistance, weather resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. Suitable for various indoor and outdoor environments, it can withstand sunlight, rain and industrial fumes.
· The installation process is simple and efficient.
V. Application
· Compatible with various standard flange models with strong versatility.
· Custom production available according to customer requirements to meet protection demands for special working conditions and non-standard flanges.
